Who are we?
Since 1999, we've been dedicated to breeding poultry with purpose, passion, and integrity. As a small, micro-hatchery — think of us like a craft brewery, but for birds — we specialize in heritage, rare, and conservation-priority breeds, raised in small batches with uncompromising care.
Our birds have made their mark far beyond our New England farm — featured in national brand feed campaigns, on TV shows, local events and even in the backyards of celebrities.
You have choices when buying poultry. You can visit the local feed store or order from a hatchery. These are the puppy mills of the poultry world. Instead, look to a small farm like ours where every bird is nurtured with attention to health and happiness, and never treated as just a number. For us, it’s not about profits — it’s about preservation, quality, and heart. How do we care?

Breeders live in small family groups all year round

Hens are never over-mated or allowed to be abused by roosters

We feed quality feed, custom scratch mix, and always provide grit and oyster shells

We do not feed a vegetarian diet - chickens are omnivores

We feed herbs and Garlic from our gardens. Seasonally, this can also include fruits and veggies, too!

Our birds have 24/7 access to fresh air and sunshine - living indoors is no fun and not healthy!

Weekly strip-sanitize-fresh bed all coops and brooders

Zero tolerance for overcrowding! Plenty of space for happy families!

A strict biosecurity program is in place to prevent viruses and diseases

Internal and external parasite management program

Routine health exams to monitor health, nails, feathers - you name it, we are taking care of it!

Breeding to a breed standard - every breed has a standard! Continuous improvement is the goal!

Chicks
All of the chicks we hatch are listed on our FB page. We are not taking any pre-orders and are done hatching for 2025.
Hatching Eggs
Hatching Eggs are available on a limited basis. Not every breed is offered. We are sold out for 2025.
Grow Outs
Once, sometimes twice a year we offer a grow out sale. You should sign up for our newsletter so keep an eye out. We have one planned for 10/25/25!
