About Us

Our story starts back in July 1996 when we met for a BLIND DATE. We married only six months later and are still happily married today! We have raised our family here as well as many types of livestock. We have tried it all from poultry to alpacas. Each year we expand on our quest to be more self-sufficient. For us, that means learning to grow our own food, make our own supplies and or products and sell our goods. It is not a quest for vast riches. It is simply the quest for self-reliance.
