The Legbar is a British auto-sexing breed of chicken. It was created in the early twentieth century by Reginald Crundall Punnett and Michael Pease at the Genetical Institute of Cambridge University, England. They lay a beautiful blue egg and are good egg layers.

Note: our legbars are split to opal meaning they carry one copy of the lavender gene. This does not change their outward appearance or egg color but it is good information for someone who might use our pullets in a breeding program.
